Celebration of the 2nd Sa3S Chair Day

✨ 𝗨𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗔𝟯𝗦! ✨

The Health and Social Services Research Chair (SA3S) brought together more than 100 participants for a day of sharing and reflection on the challenges of 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗲. It was a memorable event, rich in exchanges, discoveries and emotions.

🔹 The day began with a speech by Lara Maillet, PhD, holder of the SA3S Chair on adaptive systems in health and social services - LabRIS

🔹 We celebrated the Chair’s many initiatives this year:

Launch of a 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗼 on the privatization of care and user participation
Publication of the book by Paul Lamarche and Lara Maillet on 𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗹'𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘁𝗲́
Two grants for research projects
A new workspace, and a growing team!

🔹 Experts from France and Quebec shared their experiences on the 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲́. Many thanks to Marie-Aline Bloch, @Isabelle Aubert, Nancy Desautels and Anne Berthinier Poncet, for their captivating interventions!

🔹 The round table addressed the management of contradictions and interconnections between proximity and territory in health. Thanks to our panelists, and to Chantal Bayard for moderation.

🔹 One of the most moving moments of the day was the presentation of the First Paul Lamarche Prize to Paul Adrien, in recognition of his exceptional commitment to public health research, work that is in line with the thinking of Professor Paul A. Lamarche and mobilizes theories of complexity. 𝙁𝙚́𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖̀ 𝙡𝙪𝙞!
